A closed terrarium waters itself — moisture condenses, drips back down, and the cycle repeats. Almost zero maintenance.

What works

closed  ferns, moss, fittonia (love humidity)
open    succulents, cacti (hate humidity)
layers  gravel → charcoal → soil → plants

Watch for

Constant fogging means too much water — open the lid for a day. Mold means too little airflow.
